This home was meant to be lived in.
Over generations, it has become the kind of home that supports the good life: a spacious kitchen where people gather, three porches, a basement workshop, a fenced-in backyard, raised garden beds for veggies in the back, and a front yard bursting with flowers.
There's also a gazebo in the back designed for hammocks.
Designed for easy maintenance.
Standing seam metal roof newly sealed with GacoRoof (50-YEAR warranty!).
Vinyl floors throughout means that you're not worried about damaging the wood floors below. Awnings over the windows protect against rain and help keep the space cool. The basement workshop holds all your tools and supplies.
There's space for gardening tools and supplies under the back porch.
Pictured: the previous owner and I. It's pretty cool that there's only been 3 owners of this house in 116 years. Do you want to be the 4th?
The perfect balance of walkable and drivable

A neighborhood where people actually neighbor.
In the time that I've lived in this neighborhood, I've witnessed (and participated in) so many acts of kindness. People shovel each other's sidewalks, take the trash bins to the street, help find pets and lost items; share coffee, food, and tools. There's a Facebook group for Washington Street, where we planned a street festival and share information with each other.
We look out for each other.
